Many years ago I started out as a fine artist working mainly in oils.

I attended the School of Visual Arts for four years. While there I changed my major to advertising.

After graduating I worked as an art director and group creative director for agencies such as Chiat/Day, JWT, Lowe Lintas and Saatchi & Saatchi.

Eventually I opened my own agency and serviced smaller clients. Many of my clients could not afford the higher priced photographers and retouchers that I worked with on the National Brands at the big agencies.

So in 2001 I picked up the camera and sharpened my photoshop skills and did the photography and retouching for my clients.

Since then, my retouching business has grown. I now retouch for a number of photographers on the East and West Coast. Also some in London and Spain.

My understanding of lighting, color and perspective have helped me master photo manipulation. My background as a fine artist helps me create some very convincing photo illustration work.

I'm always up for a challenge. I believe if I can see it in my mind I can make it happen on my computer screen.
